As a founding member, BlueVenn has worked with the Customer Data Platform Institute (CDPI) in the commission of a new survey, to find out how marketers are using managing their customer data, and the current state of their customer data management technology.
Those who complete the questions will be among the first to receive an advance copy of the report, and learn how you compare to other companies with your unification and manipulation of customer data.
Even if you aren't yet aware of CDPs, they are soon to become a regular acronym in your marketing vocabulary. The CDPI defines a Customer Data Platform as “marketer-managed system that creates a persistent, unified customer database that is accessible to other systems” and has calculated that the CDP market will be worth $1billion by 2019.
In July, Gartner introduced CDPs into its Hype Cycle for Digital Marketing and Advertising report and the technology recently made it onto Scott Brinker's now legendary MarTech supergraphic.
