1st November, 2016 – International marketing company BlueVenn today announces its position as a founding member of the newly launched Customer Data Platform (CDP) Institute, a vendor-neutral organization dedicated to helping marketers manage customer data and achieve the elusive Single Customer View
Founded by David Raab, of independent technology analysts Raab Associates, the Institute creates a community and impartial resource to educate marketers on how purpose-built CDPs have the capability to succeed where alternative approaches to customer data management have not.
The Institute considers a Customer Data Platform as a “marketer-managed system that creates a persistent, unified customer database that is accessible to other systems,” a category it defined in 2013 and considers a solution to marketers biggest data problems.
Thanks to the sponsorship of a number of leading CDP vendors, including BlueVenn, the Institute is able to offer a library of white papers, surveys, evaluation guides, case studies, and product information to members at no charge. Membership will also give access to a daily newsletter with industry news and opinion, a public forum for marketers and industry experts, and a directory of industry vendors.
